Abstract

The Food Research Institute of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) Ghana hosted a two-day Regional Workshop on Sharing Experiences on Post Harvest Rice Handling in West Africa. This workshop was an output of the DFID/CPHP/FRI Project on "Consolidating and sustaining the uptake of improved rice post-production and marketing technologies in Northern Ghana" The workshop provided a platform for sharing experiences between sub-regional Institutions involved in Rice Production and Post-Production Research. Delegates were drawn from Nigeria, Benin, Mali and Ghana. The Ghanaian participants were from different institutions and organisations involved in rice Postharvest Handling in the country.
