Abstract

RESUMO O cenário agrícola mundial reflete os vários aspectos da sociedade sobre as demandas e métodos de obtenção dos produtos cultivados. Neste contexto, o impacto da agricultura no ambiente, principalmente pelo uso dos agrotóxicos, que são utilizados há muitos anos, remete a preocupações ambientais na perspectiva de mitigar impactos e empregar técnicas alternativas aos aditivos químicos. O controle biológico é uma das promissoras alternativas para redução e/ou substituição de agrotóxicos e, representa uma fatia importante da produção científica e biotecnológica no âmbito da agricultura. Entretanto, alguns fatores como segurança alimentar são preponderantes para o uso de micro-organismos no controle biológico, principalmente na pós-colheita. Contudo, o entendimento das relações biológicas entre os micro-organismos patogênicos e antagonistas inseridos no patossistema de interesse não são triviais. Portanto, este trabalho reporta a temática do controle biológico de frutas na pós-colheita buscando viabilizar informações sobre os principais micro-organismos biocontroladores bem como mecanismos de ação para as culturas as quais são testados. ABSTRACT The worldwide agricultural scenario reflects the various societal aspects of demands and methods to acquire cultivated products. In this context, the agriculture impact on the environment, primarily through the use of pesticides, which are used for many years, raises environmental concerns leading to impacts mitigation and employment of technical alternatives to pesticides. Biological control is one of the promising alternatives to reduce and / or replacement of pesticides and represents a major share of scientific and biotechnological production in agriculture. However, some factors such as food security are crucial for the use of microorganisms in biological control, especially in postharvest. The understanding of biological relationship between pathogenic microorganisms and inserted antagonists in pathossystem are not trivial. Therefore, this work reports the study of biological control in fruit postharvest and
