Abstract

Different strains of Pavlova sp. and different products (concentrate, freeze-dried powder, frozen concentrate, fresh algae culture) were evaluated as cultivation product for rotifers (Brachionus plicatilis)•Pavlova viridis supported reasonable culture growth of rotifers in comparison to common products (Nannochloropsis sp.)•Frozen Pavlova viridis concentrate was superior in comparison to other Pavlova-products (concentrate, freeze-dried) concerning rotifer culture growth, storability and applicability
