Abstract

This article describes the advent of greater research funding for the study of organizations and practice in dementia care in the UK, and the development of research infrastructures. It sets out a series of challenges that locating research in service delivery organizations may raise, and addresses issues of ethics, consent, research fatigue and pressures for results.
