Abstract

; ABSTRACT: Problem considered and development of the solution: This construction project is to define a warehouse which function is the storage and delivery and elements necessary for the proper functioning of that. In addition, it is needed to set different areas such as an office, in order to manage the entire logistics process, and a commercial retail store with an exhibition area. The industrial state has several pieces of ground with different sizes. Some of these pieces of ground are selected and adjoined to create an only plot with the enough area to allow the vehicle traffic and the construction of both the warehouse and the annex building. It fulfills all the dimensions required by the PSIR and PGOU of Torrelavega. Because of the need of large storage volume it has been decided to design a warehouse 1,847.03 m2, 9 meters of height forward of the warehouse and 11 meters of the height of the ridge. Since the main use is storage, the design of the warehouse and its functions are limited by the placement of reinforced shelves that have the last level support surface 6.10 m. Four loading docks has been placed, due to the necessity of loading and unloading, on one side of the warehouse and a ramp descending a meter, coupled to smoothly truck box. Based on this, the solution adopted in the warehouse for achieving the objectives for its realization is: The structure is metallic and comprises seven gable frames 10 meters each. Due to the high light (30 meters) has opted for a structure variable inertia in the five intermediate frames. In addition, we have designed articulated supports all except the four corner supports, to take advantage of variable inertia profiles pillar-binding and thus save lintel concrete footings. The foundation is designed with isolated footings and tie beams. Having an area of warehouse at a lower level (due to the loading docks), the footings are on two levels and two pads are oversized in his height to make this change of levels without problem. As the structure of the annex building is designed separately (for complete independence of both buildings), it has been necessary to design footings with some eccentric centering beams. The execution of a concrete wall for the area of the loading docks was also necessary as well as some dwarf concrete to reach the height of the pillars of support in the area of footings at lower elevation. The façade cladding is supported skinned belts entirely in the gables, and precast concrete panel until 2,50m height on the sides, to absorb possible shocks in truck zone and decrease the wind, and the rest of the laterals by sandwich panel. For aesthetic reasons, sandwich panel is supported on an auxiliary structure to reach 11.50 m of height to cover the entire warehouse. The cover will also sandwich panel supported on straps and translucent areas will feature eight evacuation elements to ventilate and to enter of light. As for the solution adopted in the annex: The structure is metallic and is composed of a series of pillars, longitudinal main beams and secondary beams supported above the main. This is to provide span of less than 2.50 meters and placed a floor decking. The foundation will be with footings with tie beams, and will be available on the party area with warehouse, eccentric footings with centering beams. If needed the support of the footing at elevation -1.00, for that we put dwarves concrete were placed to reach the area of the metal support pillar. The enclosure is made by ceramic ventilated facade panels “Favemanc” system on auxiliary structure anchored to a wall of a brick walk. The inverted roof is flat and not passable tell breastplate perimeter to the height +4.50 m. The interior partitions are plasterboard panels with auxiliary self-supporting structure profiles and false ceilings also with plasterboard panels.
