Abstract

AbstractTetrathiafulvalene derivatives were chemisorbed on platinum electrodes. The electrochemical behavior and the stability of the resulting redox active self‐assembled monolayers in the presence of various anions was studied by cyclic voltammetry. The particularly stable modified electrodes showed a high sensitivity for the detection of halides and nitrate in aprotic and aqueous solvents.
