Abstract

Metallo-β-lactamase (MBL)-producing Gram-negative bacteria cause infections associated with high rates of morbidity and mortality. Currently, a leading regimen to treat infections caused by MBL-producing bacteria is aztreonam combined with ceftazidime-avibactam.
