Abstract

Isolated hypoglossal nerve palsy is rare, and etiological diagnosis is difficult. We report a case of a 64 years-old Caucasian woman, evaluated due to gradually progressive slurred speech and swallowing deficits, which was diagnosed for isolated hypoglossal compression by a cervical osteophyte.
