Abstract

An optimized tris-cyclometalated iridium complex that combines high solid state emission efficiency and significant two-photon absorption at biologically relevant wavelengths is stabilized as a colloidal suspension in physiological serum and used in the framework of intracerebral vasculature imaging in vivo
