Abstract

Synergy between optical and electrical properties, namely, deep-blue emission (color saturation: (0.15,0.10)) and a high carrier mobility (stemming from π–π stacking) are demonstrated in a novel planar linear molecular design for effective deep-blue electroluminescence with a yield of 5.48 cd A−1.
