Abstract

A pdf is available by request to jmheyman@utep.edu . An item about border culture written to be accessible to undergraduates. It contains vivid examples of cultural complexity (hybridities and conflicts) at borders, and guides the reader to understand better the limitations of the bounded container concept of society as nation.
