Abstract

; ABSTRACT: The main goal of this project was to study optically active materials in order to determinate its thermo-tensional state. For this, we have used a Y2O3: 2% Er3+, 20% Yb3+ and SiO2 coating over an Al2O3 substrate. The luminescence produced by upconversion phenomena in Er3+ and the fluorescence of the R1 and R2 lines of the natural impurities of Cr3+ in Al2O3 were measured in order to study the thermal and pressure effects. ; Máster en Nuevos Materiales
