Abstract

Timothy Asch es conocido en los medios antropol??gicos mundiales por ser uno de los mejores etnocineastas. Su figura, junto a las de John Marshall, Robert Gardner y Jean Rouch emblematiza lo que se ha denominado ??antropolog??a visual??. Actualmente es director del Centro de Antropolog??a Visual de la Universidad del Sur de California. Es entrevistado para Gazeta de Antropolog??a por el director del Centro de Investigaciones Etnol??gicas de la Diputaci??n de Granada. ; Timothy Asch is known in the international anthropological community as one of the best ethnic film directors. Together with John Marshall, Robert Gardner and Jean Rouch, he represents what has been denominated ??visual anthropology??. He is currently managing the Center of Visual Anthropology at the University of the Southern California. Gazeta de Antropolog??a presents an interview with Timorthy Asch by the director of the Center of Ethnological Researches (part of the Diputaci??n Provincial de Granada).
