Abstract

The antiferromagnetic structure of the purely organic free-radical 4,5-dimethyl-1,24-triazole-nitronyl-nitroxide (T-N = 0.33 K) was determined by neutron diffraction. The observed spin arrangement gives important information about the competing ferro- and antiferromagnetic exchange pathways in this compound.
